ChargedDust is keeping the peace
Anyone have any issues using the factory air cleaner box with the built in BOV while running higher than normal boost levels, say 12-14 psi. I'm wondering if that factory BOV has any longevity issue at those levels...?

NAJ is keeping our cars running
Bought my car new(VNT) and have had absolutely no issues at all.
Car has at least 200 1/4 miles passes so I have seen 12 lbs of sustained boost many times.

over time there has been many different out comes. The reason is the valve is plastic. Some don't have a problem, others leak after being cracked from boost. Unless stock is your goal the BOV needs to change a long with the air box.

It would be tough with the late air box, but I have seen metal BOVs added into the older air box a few times.
