also in 1983 the Plymouth Scamp (sis to the Dodge Rampage)

Its sorta sad that the Plymouth name isnt around anymore.. But then again, that mite hopefully make em not able to revamp old Plymouth muscle names... We all see what they did with Charger (ahem, 300)... And even tho people said the same thing when the Charger came back around in the 80's, Im still solid on not likin it much.. At least ford made an effort..

I know back in the day there was trucks made by them, at the time i was lookin for the manual it just struck me as funny that the van was in there.

It would be nice to get ahold of one of the old trucks. My father in law has a 63 Dodge 1 ton duelly that hes lookin to unload, i guess hes had it for about 6 years and ran like shit back then, hasnt been started since he bought. Might try to get it off him for reasonable cheap. WHo knows.

If anyones interested let me know, hes lookin to sell

a guy down the street from me had a 35 Plymouth pick up. pretty sad he didn't have room for it in the garage so he left it outside all winter (that was the end of that truck)

Mitchell is good. Not quite a factory service manual, but the next best thing for sure. Those autozone service manuals are useless. I'd rather have a Haynes.

well I work for chrysler so it is nice to have all the propper manuals but everything before 1995 is away boxed up, not used enoughf to take up valuable space, but nice to know it's there if nessesary.

I find mitchells is probably the best system other then OEM

A voyager is defintely not a truck, though. Oh well.
Old post, but I figured I'd chime in- Majority of automakers sell their vans as "Trucks" to keep their CAFE numbers down.

And for the new "Chargers", I agree, watered down much, but Dodge had planned on using it to score big in the "Police Market", which IMO was a success... Now, as far as the Challenger goes... we can only hope.......

Very nice. It was great to find a maintenance and repair manual for my Nissan Sentra online. It almost feels like cheating the repair shops, very cool.

Minivans and Jeep suv's are manufactured as trucks under federal guidelines, because the back seats are removable.

In Pennsylvania. they are registered as station wagons or passenger cars because they have back seats.

Go figure, our government bueraucrats at their finest

Thomas Jefferson said it best,
He who governs least, governs best.

in ny you can register a truck as either a truck or a car if it is under a certain weight (like an s10 for example) because all trucks over that weight are registered as commercial vehicles
