cindy would know the exact date of when it was bought. but when it was bought wasent when it was installed. the car always ran pig rich with the cal i a running

true i honestly should have cleaned it out with carb cleaner but didnt was worried about the smell carb cleaner leaves behind when shipping it no big deal

Im fairly cartain since mid to late 2003, FWDP manifolds had a external coating.

Besides, carb cleaner wouldn't do much anyways. That doesn't look to be oily residue, it appears to be carbon which is normal...especially when running pig rich as you mentioned your carwas running. Bead blasting it would make it look new again.

Your ported exhaust manifold looks like you did a very nice job. Did u ever get to test those out? The runners look very impressive.....same shape just bigger.

We are building a fixture for a super flow 600 bench to test intakes and exhaust manifolds right now. I should have some data by the first of the year. If you have any more questions let us know.
