IIRC he has a second coil and a spark plug in the pipe, and runs gas

so when u say he runs gas, he is not buring unburnt fuel from the engine. he is acutally injecting gas into the pipe?

If I remember right it only flamed off the throttle so I would assume its' not running a direct shot of fuel to the exhaust, but maybe just cranked up fuel pressure or something. Nice little trick that alot of people on this site could use! hahaha Hell on your motor, but pretty easy to put on a good show now and then

I know I plan on doing it because I'll be the only one around who has it! I have NEVER seen it done around here..and its so SIMPLE. Instead of a flip switch I just want to use a pushbutton switch.. like a starter button or something..... right after I get my car RUNNING! lol.

With no additional fuel source, you'll just get a little flash and pop. The F&F cars used an injector spraying into the pipe with a spark plug connected to an MSD for ignition. The color effects (blue and green flames) were from chemical additives in the fuel (i.e. copper will give a green-ish flame). I've seen old-school lowriders with ACTUAL flamethrowers built in, where they used pressurized fuel and propellant, and all the engine was for was to blow the flames out of the pipe. Very impressive!
