Warren, that is the most beautiful header or turbo manifold I have ever seen in my life. BIG TIME kudos for that. Unbeliveable workmanship.

oh yeah...

PS....that damn header gave me morning wood! hahaha
Those remote mounted turbo's also make a lot less hp then a normal turbo setup. I get tired of people saying thats the only place they have room. Guy here in utah has twin t-67's in his engine bay. He ran a 9 on 11 psi boost.

The remote mounted guys run 13's here on higher boost (we are high elevation). STS turbo's actually is based here in utah. They get no respect from local racers.

A couple people asked if the header would fit in a L body, I would like to know. Could someone make two measurements for me, as I don't have a L body to check. You would need to measure the distance from the right end (machined flat area) of the block to the frame rail, and from the lower block P/S mounting bracket boss straight back to the steering rack. All other dimensions should be fine. The photo below shows that the firewall clearence is not an issue, as the header is on the engine in this shot.......Warren

You can see what I'm talking about better from this angle. The secondary pipe loops hang out past the block 4 inches, Is there room in a L body in this area? Could someone measure please?

I'm at work right now but if, by then no one has measured, I'll do it. I own a GLH and a Rampage.

How low does the secondary pipe hang below block deck height?

Spent enough time swapping and fabbing to see there will be no
problem at all on top end but it looks like passenger floor pan will
be an issue (not realy as metal is easily welded up after cutting!).

Here is an undercar shot, TBI header and custom slash cut/welded
2.5" swingvalve. Pic may help a little but I will measure for you when
I know drop of your pipe from deck height.

The power steerin pump pulley on an l body is very close to the frame rail( baby finger may fit between them). With a bad engine alignment and mounts, the pulley can grind away at the rail in hard left turns. That runner may come into contact with the same frame rail.

Russ, The lower secondary loop is 2 inches above the right side axle (one piece shaft) and about 1/2 inch higher than the block oil pan rail. For some reason the whole header looks larger in the photos than it really is.

But how far is the frame rail from the block face?

Wow it will fit!!! 2am and cold ass hell out I will take some pics for
you in daylight, that is some tricky angles you worked into that header!

That side shot you just posted tells a good story, had to go out
a second time and view my car. That is some very creative use
of space you got going on bud!

I need a towel!!!

VERY nice. Better than any of the solutions I've come up with. The only thing I see is that it's going to be a mjor PITA to get to the starter...oh well.

The turbo is in the stock location, so it wont be any easier or worse than it already is to get at the starter.
