With all the talk about SS header on another thread I thought I would show what I've been working on. I have a few more welds to make and the hanger braces and then fab the oil return. this design leaves the turbo in the stock location, with the turbine reclocked. All tubes are equal length.

This is the best fabbed item I've seen in the TD world yet in my opinion. It looks amazing Warren, I'm extremely impressed.

Now if only you would be willing to make a jig from it and make me one, name your price In all honesty let me know if you would consider making a second. I doubt it as I was quietly following your previous mention of this as it being teh hardest fab project you've tckled yet. Not to mention the L body firewall is probably a bit tighter than the G.

Once again, my hats off to you.

That is exactly what I have been thinking of doing down the road. Have the tubes gradually come together. Yes that header is the shAt. Did you use any formulas to compute the legths of each tube and where to join them? thanks, chris

Wow! Beautiful. So how far down the road will it be before you think you can dyno it?

As far as I know Warren is not a dyno man- but a "this thing rocks on the track" man. Real world performance gains provided by track numbers.

Dyno's really are nothing but bragging rights and a great way to tune your car in my opinion. This comign form someone who brags about their pump gas dyno numbers...
