Is the 3" downpipe and exhaust all the way back actually a advantage since the swing valve is 2.5 or would 2.5" downpipe and exhaust make the same difference?

What about getting the 3" downpipe that bolts up to the 2.5" swingvalve? (Because the top of the downpipe is tappered to 2.5")

Im using a 3" DP from TU and their supplied donut on a 2.5" garrett swingvalve and it seals fine.

*However*
I have solid engine mounts, and the exhaust has no rubber hangars, so there is no room for movement to tear up the donut/create leaks.

To get the full benefit, and while you have the DP off anyways, why not just throw a 3" SV on it ?
