hey guys i just have 2 questions

1. is a side exhaust illegal in connecticut??

2. my exhaust pops LOUD!!! if i put on a hi flow cat will it make it alot slower?? or would a muffler tone down the popping?

What's up man...I still have that shadow of yours.

Anyway, no, side exit exhaust isn't legal in CT - dmv says it has to exit out back of vehicle for safety (less chance of CO getting in the passenger cabin).

Is it popping on decel? What kind of car is it (year/motor/tranny)? Popping is usually due to a leaning condition. A high flow cat won't really quiet it up, and it will take away a little performance, but I run one on my car and it's not that big of a hit (maybe 10hp). A muffler will definitely quiet it up though.

The popping is from the ECU adding just a tiny bit of fuel on decel. If you have the ECU shut the injectors off on decel you won't have any popping.
