egt probe location on tbi header

Just curious if it would stay the same as a stock mani. or if it would go further down stream. If anyones done it or has pics that'd be great

I would put it in the same location as the regular turbo header. You'll get a better idea of the overall exhaust temp across all 4cyl if you put it near the collector, but with the length of the header I would be concerned that the readings would be off too much. Placing it close to the head the closest temps to where it matters the most, the cylinder.

thanks for your input. I was kind of thinking the same thing. It almost requires 4 probes. Haha. Not with my budget.
