Are the 4" bullet mufflers any good? I was thinking about going with a 3" turbo back w/ a high flow cat and the bullet then break it down into dual 2.5" and run them through custom C/F Sideskirts. Too many bends? anyone know how the mufflers sound?

Yeah, too many bends. With an exhaust you want to keep it simple with the least amount of bends. I have a 3" Race Bullet and I love how it sounds, plus it isn't loud and annoying in the cabin at speeds. I can post up an audio file if you want.

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out. I am also selling tan trim if you're interested.

My system is a full 3" mandrel bent from the turbo back. I have a cat and the pipe goes up over the rear axle and exits out the back.

damn, that sounds nice. I always thought it would be excessive because of how open the bullet is.

And that was on a cold start so it was a little louder than when it warms up.

You would have to check throught the TD specific vendors for complete performance exhaust systems.

BTW Welcome to the forum...good to have someone else from the Lancaster area.

Full 3" on my CSX with a dynomax bullet muffler, I love it!! Not to loud, but has an aggressive tone!

yeah calling it a muffler is a bit of a stretch, and indeed it is not even legal as a muffler. which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending what you are after

Yeah, just head over to Front Wheel Drive Performance. That's where I got mine, and I know they have one for the Daytona. You just need the downpipe, a cat, a muffler and the catback kit.

I have always run a mandrel bent system with a Bullet muffler behind a gutted cat, then a Magnaflow at the back. Flows great, sounds fantastic, and that's about all you want right?!

I bought a 2.5" mandrel system from Cindy and it is a great fit requiring NO hard work to MAKE fit. Well laid out system.
