So in 2002 I bought a 3" JRB Exhaust from the actual JRB guys when someone actually made a decent complete exhaust.

My P body needs a 3" exhaust. If I buy an incomplete shit-kit from TU or FWDP then it wont reach to my downpipe or even make the bend upwards.

FWDP seems to have purchased the JRB design but they dont produce it for P bodies or AA bodies anymore.
Im guessing this has to do with the trend of doubling your exhaust prices by charging you for a downpipe.

That downpipe would not work for me anyways so lets not bring it up.

So Can I find a REAL exhaust sytem that doesnt end 3 feet before the engine bay or do I need to purchase a 30 deg bend (or what is the bend that they use in the down pipe????). When my spirit was turbo my downpipe fit nicely with the 3" JRB

Thanks.........I wasnt going to run an exhaust but apparently I need to follow the rules of my racing class ;P

Actually if you want a JRB style kit from us for a P-body, all you have to do is call and ask. The only difference in the JRB kit vs the catback we sell is the addition of the pseudo downpipe. So again, just call and try asking for what you need before going on off on a vendors kit. BTW most people prefer a complete downpipe as opposed to the psuedo pipe. The psuedo pipe is good for you and other 3.0 guys but the vast majority of people on this forum have 4 cylinder turbo's and with those a full 3" dp set up is the way to go.
Later,
Cindy

I got a complete 3" 409 stainless set-up which included high flow stainless cat and stainless high flow muffler for $385 from a local guy. They're hard to find, but there are a few quality exhaust shops out there that aren't out to rape anybody. Try asking around.
