I am havent messured up passenger side of gas take but in the spring i am thinking of getttind rid of the cat put a muffler to y pipe and running 2.5 to the back of the car. I am driving 87 shelby turbo II

Is this worth considering?? or would i be better off with one bigger pipe for flow and sound, i am not going for loud but throaty

duals on a four cylinder are kind of pointless go for a big single

just go with full 3" and it will make more power than 2 smaller pipes. also to dual it you will have more bends in the pipe and that is restriction. my 2 cents.

+1. Go single pipe. 2.5 or 3 inch is good. If you want a dual look you can split it at the muffler like the SRT-4s or have a split tip like the 3.0s came with stock. I'm thinking about doing the latter one myself with a Corvette exhaust tip I have laying around. It's a full 2.5"
