is the exhaust manifold off of a 90 VNT turbo better than a t1 manifold? Or maybe better than an 87 t 2? How many differant ones are made for 2.2s and 2.5s? Thanks, Tom

All the exhaust manifolds flow about the same. The VNT manifold is supposedly "better" to some because it has a higher nickel content (I belive), so it is more resistant to cracking. The only difference in exhaust manifolds is that the early TI manifolds did not have a notch for the later model intakes. The notch can easily be made, making those exhaust manifolds just as useable as the later model ones. Other than that they are all the same.
