I think just about every single car dodge built in the mid 80's had the 2.2 or 2.5 engine in it. So the "best" car to pull parts off of could be anything, a reliant, a caravan, a daytona, a shadow, an acclaim, an omni, charger etc. This also depends on which parts you're referring to. Shadow and daytona have the same platform so suspension stuff would be the same between them.

All the cars share something. There are three models that are pretty much the red headed step children when it comes to parts that interchange. Omni, Charger, and Mini's... The engine is the same through out with only some slight difference's ~ omni/charger = smaller sized alternator IIRC. MINI = tower sitting suspension(Struts, Springs).
Hope that made sense

I just bought the 3" catback pipes. They're supposed to be here next tuesday. I'm upgrading to a 2.5" downpipe into a 3" system catless and mufflerless. After I unleash this added power I hope I don't break my engine mounts

Well here it is,
Shadow/Daytona
Omni/Charger
Spirit/Lebaron
Since it says shadow/daytona, is the daytona the best car at a junkyard "if you can find it" to pull parts for a shadow?

Anyone know the difference between a JRB and Catback? Are they the same quality? Which kit would fit an H body?
The cat back lists daytona/shadow and, lebaron/spirit.
The JRB lists omni/charger and Caravan in the 3"..

Catback is just going to be two pipes designed to go from the rear of you cat converter to the rear bunmper, the jrb system is designed to go clear up to the turbo. So basically the jrb has a down pipe, and the cat back does not. Note that there is not an exhaust flange on the jrb to attach it to the turbo, so its technically a quasi-down pipe. Pictured is the catback system I bought for my Omni.

thank you for your reply. I was wondering if there was a difference in construction or materials between a JRB and a FWDP Catback, but i guess not. I have understand that the CatBack is really 2.75" ID and i thought maybe the JRB would be a true 3" ID. But what i get from your reply is the only difference is the length of pipe you are getting. Sounds good to me. Which kit would fit an H body?
Thanks again and for posting that pic. very nice
Bernie
