hey everyone, i got some questions. for my 3.0 with just a CAI would 2.5 inch exhaust be ok? would it be too big?( i thought it seemed a little big, prolly just me though) also are there headers for the 6g72? any good mufflers?

2.5" is a good size. I'm running a 2.25" mandrel bent cat-back with a gutted stock cat. Should probably go 2.5".

i like a high flow cat and a 2.5 exhaust for n/a 3.0 cars. i have done back to back testing at the track 2.5inch vs 3inch and ididnt gain any et or mph

Therefore you might as well go 3" for more advantage with further mods and the 2.5" will NOT be quieter.

That is a good point, and you can always tailor down an exhaust system that is too loud with different mufflers or sound deadening cones (Summit carries these).
