I've always wanted make a SV that points up, and run it straight out off the hood. Hmmm...maybe an idea for my dune car...

Are there laws against that, lol?

You've heard my car, did you think its too loud? From Market Muffler shop, Its just a catco high-flow cat, 2.25" catback to a resonator, all with mandrel bends, the guy only charged around $265 if i remember right. Kinda wish I went with the 2.5" but believe 2.25 should support up to 200HP easy.

If just replacing the muffler you could even talk him into replacing it with a resonator for ya. I'd make sure he cuts far enough back on the exhuast, at one point it goes to 1 7/8" pipe before the muffler. It can help the top-end once that part gets opened up (high-flow cat also really helps too!)
