Will a 3.0 V6 downpipe bolt to a stock Garrett turbo?

I recently got an '89 Turbo SPirit, and it has a stock Garrett turbo on it, which I presume has the stock 2-1/2" downpipe. The cat and rear section of the pipe (with the crimps in it right behind the cat) look stock, so it may be a 2-1/2" downpipe. I haven't gotten under there yet to look closer, but I think the Garrett has the stock 2-1/4" swingvalve on it.
I have a complete exhaust system that was on my '93 3.0 V6 Shadow ES, and it's in great shape. It has the 2-1/2" downpipe on it.
My question is about the spacing of the bolts on the flange where it'll bolt to the turbo. Would they be the same distance apart on both the turbo and downpipe, so they can bolt together? It looks like the angles and length of the pipe are the same.
It'd be great and easy if this exhaust just bolts in. Because it was made for a Shadow and I'm putting it in a Spirit, I may have to lengthen the pipe behind the cat a bit, but that's not a big deal.
