I got this in Denver yesterday at a swap meet, pretty sure it is a display header like the one on the display 2.2 that Mancini had from the Chrysler Engineering sale. What do you think, gonna have all welded up and install on my 81 K.

I was just searching for one of those, that thing looks great and will really set your engine bay off! Great find, how much did you steal that one for?

My Daytona, but it wouldn't really make too much sense since no one would be able to see it really.

to keep it from going blue from heat (if you install it), wipe or spray the entire inside with thick grease, like axle grease. it will smoke like a banshee till it all burns off, but once it does, it leaves a nice insulating layer of basically... coal inside that will keep it from going blue over time.
it an old harley trick.

buuuut the blue-ing looks kinda cool if you ask me. also Idk if that'd fit a rampage, the L-bodies are kinda tight. looks like the rake on it might make it though. the other thing that makes me think it may fit is that Direct Connection made N/A custom stuff for the 2.2 shelby following- IE the Omni, Charger, annnnnnd Rampage.

Thanks for the answers for the newb! I am not sure why it being a display matters, unless it is not fully weded or a beta test peice. And if it works it works.

I mean it is not a plastic version of a header, sooooooo

And if you want to get rid of it, which I am assuming you don't, let me know as my new Hobart and my new Blast cabinet are begging to get broken in. :)

that thing should heat up your intake manifold really quick. Chrome is the worst for dissipating heat.

Amen. Chrome sucks! But I will still take it, throw it in the Blaster and then get it coated.
