Can anyone else add to this? What size is the stock GLHT downpipe? I want to throw a 3" system on my car. I'd like to have all the stuff ready to do it all at once without any runs to the parts store.

i dont know about the 2.25" SV, but you you can install a 3" pipe to a 2.5" SV. however, the seal may not always be ideal, but i didnt have any leaks with mine...

my new hybrid turbo will be here today, and i recently aquired a brand new TU 3" SV off of ebay a couple of weeks ago, so, i wont have to worry about that anymore....."thumbs up

I think they have 4" race mufflers in the big Summit catalog but I may be wrong. I know it would be a bit loud though:big grin:

According to FWDperformance you can hook up a 3'' downpipe to the stock 2.25'' garret swingvalve.
