Hey all, I was installing my Turbo onto my exhaust manifold, and noticed that it wasn't sealed completely. It wasn't WIDE open, but you could tell that it wasn't perfectly shut. I figured that it wouldn't be that bad, however when stopped, I can sometimes smell the exhaust, which is pretty much of a drag. Is there anything I could use for a quick fix around the flange?? I don't feel like pulling the head off right now, as it is freshly installed.

Thanks for any advice!

Sounds like the bolts aren't tightened all the way down. Given the weight that its holding, you might want to check that out. You're not talking about the seal to the downpipe are you? That is most likely because the seal wasn't aligned before it was tightened.

also, if you ever pull it apart again, make sure the flange on the manifold, and the flange on the turbo are perfectly flat, it one is warped, you wont get a good seal
