With that quoted. If i were to make it 2.25 all the way through woudl that help any performance wise? Just cut the small section before the axel and replace with new. Also anyone have any ideas on how to make a muffler louder? lol besides a through the side. What if I drilled or did something to the inside of miffler through tailpipe? stupid question i know. My 88 Lebaron has the quitest muffler iv ever heard. All you can hear is the rushing of air and a slight whistle.

I dont want anything stupid loud just even something that sounds like my laser.

I have a dynomax super turbo on mine. It's quiet but i can hear it at idle. A little bit rumbly. I'd leave the exhaust alone. Unless you are running high boost, or have quite a few engine mods.

Any place you can increase exhaust flow is going to help greatly.
Even on a stock engine its still a very noticeable upgrade.

i cut my exhaust off right after the second 90* bend and felt a bit of a gain, if you took the whole catback off and replaced it with 2.25", youll notice a agin, but if youre gonna do it, go all the way

slap at least a 2.5" exhaust on it
