Anyone care to post pics of their side exit exhaust, esp. in 3"? Underneath shots would be helpfull too, if you got them. Anyone have any ground clearance problems on stock ride height cars?

Omaha, eh? WooHoo, another local! So it looks like that setup will stay tucked under the car a be mostly hidden. Let me know if you have any problems with it in relation to the ground effects.

Unfortunately I don't have pics of the 3" side exit on my ShelbyZ. Well there's one of the side but the tip/end is in the shadow and you can't really see it anyway. But the springs/shocks are stock and I've only barely rubbed it on a VERY high speed bump at about 2MPH. And it was only the 3" header flange where I was gonna put a muffler in just before the 90 degree bend out the side. Dropping the car when/if the eibachs go on sitting on the floor here shouldn't be a problem. I might go to the full coil-over setup I've seen floating around Turbododge now that there's a way to lower and raise the rear of the car. My car being white has some yellowing on the ground f/x but I have it cut pretty flush with the side. Sticking it out another 1/4" would probably eliminate it. Personally I kinda like it I've thought about wrapping the f/x around the exhaust and to the end with some thin aluminum like Rally cars have but haven't gotten around to it yet.

See I was thinking of doing it on the CSX-T. I wasn't sure how to have the end though, I haven't found any exhaust tips that look good. I was shooting for something like on the old Challenger T/A's and AAR Cudas. Can't find anything close in a three inch.

See I personally like just the end of the pipe there. SCC has a AAR cuda stle exhaust on thier Project SRT4. You can see it in the April edition. They have some tip on the end that does look very close to the AAR style. Personally I think it looks dumb on a newer car. Not that I really liked it in the 70's. If I ever get a pic I'll post it but it won't be for a while.

nice looking, Not really a side exit though. Not sure if I'd want it under the car like that. Mine hangs from that same location (metric thread there) and runs straight out the side.

Lincoln! didn't even notice. we should hookup sometime. the exhaust i got from frostburner on here and will get it soon. i hope to be able to extend it out and put some type of tip on it so it sticks out a little and looks cool! hopefully i wont have to cut the ground f/x but as long as it looks nice and performs i'll be happy!

This is on my R/T its a 3 inch from the down pipe with a 3 inch side dump and my 2.5 exhaust out the back. It has an electric cutout now, so I can open and close it from in the car....Its alot of fun...
