Well we have modified the exhaust system on our 1991 Dodge Shawdow America. The car is a 2.2 N/A with a 5-speed manual, p/s, and psb. The car when stock went 17.960 @ 73.89 with a 2.491 60 foot.

We installed a recon "turbo" head, K & N Air Filter, Ram Air, Taylor Spark Plug Wires, MSD Coil, fresh Champion Spark Plugs, a set of 15 x 6.5 Motegi Aluminum Rims with Cooper Cobra Tires (P205/50x15) in the front, added TK7 to the fuel and the car went 17.283 @ 77.283 with a 2.361 60 foot.

Well we removed the original exhaust and installed a 2.5" diameter one with a dump tube a Walker Dyno Max Muffler, moved the timing to 14 degrees. We are taking the car to the track on opening day here in NE Ohio and are hopefull of a 16.80 @ 79.50 mph with the exhaust capped up. With the dump tube open we are aiming for 16.65 @ 80.50 mph.

Here is a picture of the new exhaust parts.

Best Regards
