On the 87 GLHS, I am going to buy either a 2.5" or 3" exhaust. I want the 3", but I don't want it to hit anything. Will it fit OK or should I just get the 2.5"?

The FWDP catback system bolts right on with all the right bends for your SC. Then you can either get their JRB version downpipe and use a 2.5" donut from an 89 turbo car and do that or buy a 3" SV and matching downpipe with it's 3" donut from TurbosUnleashed. The way to go in my opinion.

I think the 3" has issues fitting back near the axle and the gas tank. People have done it, but I think it involves shifting the gas tank over slightly.

I didn't have to shift anything when I had 3" on my GLH. Though it would bump if I had passengers in the back and forgot to slow down for a speedbump
