Periodically we have extra exhaust pipe sections, which can be used for IC tubing (2.5") and some 3" pipes we throw in a box aand you can buy a piece for $50 each. Call and I will see what we have. Otherwise we don't normally break up a set of pipes.
Thanks,
Cindy
PS best to use the contact info listed above, thanks lookin4GLH for posting it!

If you only want part of the exhaust, buy the downpipe, and find a mandrel bend 90. Install the DP, have a shop run straight pipe from the DP to the 90 bend and then straight out the side. What I'm going to do...I might even throw a muffler in ther somewhere

i say if you are gonna run 3 inch dude you gotta change to a garret turbo 2............... the mitsu will hit boost cutout every time................ the mitsu hates free flow and will boost creep if you run a 3 inch exhaust................

Couldn't you fix the over boost problem with a granger valve?? How easy would that be. And if not.. look in the for sale section.. there are over boost eleminators going for $10 shipped! Then you will have a lean problem if you run in Overboost... but can fix that with a simple 5th injector.

this kind of overboost isn't caused by the boost controler being used. it is because the wastgate hole in the turbin housing is too small. when you increase the flow of your exhaust you make it easier for the exhaust gasses to go through the turbin and out the (now free flowing) exhaust instead of going through the small wastgate hole. It's all about path of least resistance. If you make it easier for the gasses to go through the turbin and out the pipe than they will.

The fix would be to remove the turbo, unbolt and remove the swing valve housing (on a mitsu turbo it is called an O2 housing cause the swing valve is actualy built into the turbin housing). And now that you can see the swingvalve "flapper", remove the disk. Than port the hole out larger and find a larger disk (large enought to cover the new hole you hogged out) and reattech it to the flapper. And then bolt it back together and put it in the car.

This will solve the prob. but in reality it is much easier to upgrade to a garrett turbo. The reason this doesn't happen to the garret turbo is the wastgate hole is already larger than it needs to be for the stock exhaust.
