no idea what size it is, but just for reference the 2.3 ford guys that upgrade from the stock 52mm tb to a 60mm or larger gain a whoppping 4 hp. this of course comes with a huge loss of throttle control.

Well since you are already not looking at bolt on parts Just get a newer 4.0l jeep TB and mod it to work.

The manual 4.0 rigs got a TB that tapers down to 55mm and the autos were 60mm all the way through. That gives you the ability to try both sizes. They are all over the junkyards. My plans are to use the 55mm TB on my custom intake and then swap it to a 60mm and see if it makes a difference.

I don't think it is worth going over 52mm unless you have a 16v engine though.
