got the stage 3 computer from cindy running 15 psi. when i would hit full boost, the BOV would crack open and it'd be a huge bost leak. so i threw some quarters in it (couldnt find the washers) i ended up with the 2 washers that were in it before, plus $1.50 in quarters... it holds fine now at WOT but when im driving it regularly around town, im getting insane compressor surge every time i shift cuz the spring is too stiff to release around 5-8psi. im guessing its just because its a piston type BOV? are the others (greddy type S/RS or HKS super sequential) any better in different boost situations? arethose still piston type? if not, how do they work?
