No way im going to throw a fart can on it lol. i was thinking of a matrix exhaust with dual DTM tips on it.

Hey. What do you want? I thought you wanted to let the car breath as best it could. Have you taken a look at that throttle blade? My **** is fatter than that. There's no way a 6" shiny pipe with a cone filter is going to improve the stock motor AT ALL.

Swapping to a turbo is the most sensible thing you've talked about so far for improving your performance... It would actually give you a reason to swap out the factory stuff. Yup pretty much a motor and computer swap... just have to pay attention to your engine sizes and years... A beefier tranny would help too, but you could wait until you blow that one up.

Start a new thread dedicated to your swap idea and i'm sure lots of members will chime in with good solid advice... this thread is the wrong place to get into it.

EDIT: and when I was joking about the painted dash and the exhaust tip.... Yeah... I was kidding around saying that the CAI -> TBI being a Ricetastic idea

naw man, I hate ricers. If you knew me, i am always talking sh*t about ricers. I cant stand the little bastards with a can and body kit and think they are the real deal and can take any V8 car at the track. Their cars may look nice (well.... not nice) but look fast but are slow. I am just about the opposite, I like my sh*t to look slow as hell but be pretty quick. You would think my 74 F100 was a slug, its not! stock rims and tires that look like trash. But yeah the 302 is well built and i am into the high 12's on street tires, I tried drag radials but the suspension wouldnt let the tires hook so it did me no good and made it worse. I am a V8 guy, I had a Mustang about a year ago and i cant believe I let it go. The funniest part of it all, is it was a 4cyl... yeah a 4cyl. lol. But dont let that fool you one bit. 2.3L turbo motor from a SVO. Probly squarin off 290 rwhp at 22psi

Anyway, yeah i kinda jacked this thread big time so I'll start a new one lol. But yeah in my own mind the box creates turbulance and what not and shitty flow. wish i could flow test it to see how it flows

Well, i beat the snot out of it already. So might want to grab a 5 speed. Will the gas brake clutch pedal from a donor car bolt up? they did on my old Mustang.

it should be pretty straight forward... just make sure the 5 speed is from a turbo car...

Whats the difference from the turbo 5speed from the N/A 5speed? But yeah, motor, pedals, wiring harness/computer, and slave cylinder?

Is that a 3.0" intake? Does it fit in front of the radiator support core? Mine will be in place of the factory intercooler. That will be an aluminum plate with 3 tubes welded in place. Two 2.25" or 2.5" tubes to feed the intercooler and the T/B, and the 3" maybe 3.5" feeds the turbo with the filter in that pressurized area in front of the radiator and intercooler!
