[joking]I'd like to see one made for the 89-90 caravans (and/or t2 converted), but sadly I think most of us running around prefer ABS plastic =.( [/joking]

That aside, I think that if you made ones for NA neons you may hit a decent market (first gen, second gen, dohc and sohc). I know that I've been looking at several ones for my '05 sohc neon and haven't been impressed with anything premade with regards to price points. I am using the old cotton guaze oil type drop in filter with the airbox top removed trick 'till I see something I like

we have a prototype for the srt4 and spirit turbo(not the r/t). looking for 2 people to send them to for testing and feedback. must run a stock style turbo in the stock location. you need to contact me with all the info on your car a pic or 2 would be helpful. you will have to sign a nondisclosure agreement with us and product will have to be returned to us at some point in time (our discretion). we will of course send you a finished product for your help. I WILL NOT POST ANY PICS OF THE INTAKES ! these are prototypes and we are spending a great deal of money and research on them, hence the nondisclosure agreement.
I have a TII Daytona with the turbo in the stock location, and would be happy to test your prototype.

kind of a waste of money if you ask me. most guys on this board are into making thier own stuff. besides, our cars already have CAI from the factory. a carbon fiber wont offer any better performance, and the wieght savings would be just a few ounces over the very light weight plastic factory setup. the only advantage i see would be the heat resistance. kinda much to spend 200 bucks for 5-10 deg intake temp drop , when i can buy a roll of hedder wrap for 35 and get the same thing.

now on the otherhand, if you can make carbon fiber intake manifolds, that would be another story all together. heat soak is a problem since our intakes sit right on top of the exhaust mani. plus our intakes dont exactly flow the best. carbon fiber would fix the heat issue, and molding a new intake to flow better than any ported stocker can would definately have some people blowin up your phone, myself included.

for CAI, you might be better off offering universal parts eg; 45 deg 90 deg, 135 deg 165 deg elbows, and lengths of straight pipe , all in various diameters. much less development time for you, and more flexibility for customers to make the way they want .
