I'm building a 287 casting number G head for my '89 2.5 Turbo Spirit. I'm going to use the '89 Turbo roller cam.

Once the G head is built with its stock G head valves and springs in place, can I just drop in a set of lifters, roller rocker arms, and the roller cam from a 1989 782 Turbo head?

Or are those parts different somehow? As far as I know, only the valve stem length is a little bit different between swirl and non swirl heads.

I think the 287 is a good swap, my 782 pings way easier than the 287 I used to use. 287 is going back on

Apart from the valves and springs, rockers, lifters are a direct swap!
