i put an intercooler on my 88 lebaron gts 2.2 turbo auto, and i moved the BOV to the outside and mounted it on the t2 airbox. is it suppose to vent air out at idle. all of the vacuum lines are hooked up right? because if it does, how would my car boost, if air was going out?

Normal condition. At idle, the high vacuum is pulling up on the valve, allowing air to pass through. Under boost the valve will be closed due to spring pressure.

If it bothers you that much, you can (depending on which BOV you're using) add a shim washer or adjust the spring tension on it. It'll affect how fast/far it opens when it vents though.
