How did you connect your holset to your exhaust?

I was just looking at my brand spanking new holset HY35 turbo. It came with the 90 degree (Well almost 90) bend to the exhaust. So how are you mating this to your 3" exhaust? Flex pipe? Are you removing the V band clamp 90 degree cast iron bend, and putting in a new pipe?

How are you doing it?~~Heath

I cut off the vband and just welded a 3" right radius 90 degree bend and followed through on the 3" exhaust from there

Pics would be nice. I have seen a couple 3" V band flanges on ebay I might pick one of those up. ~~Heath
