should be -10. the numeric measurment stands for 16ths of and inch so 10/16=5/8"

-4=1/4"
-6=3/8"
-8=1/2"
-10=5/8"
-12=3/4"
and so on

As stated above -

each -# is equal to 1/16th so a -4 is 4/16 or 1/4.

5/8" = 10/16" = -10
