I have a freshly rebuilt 2.5l T1 motor. I got all the super60 components in a deal except for the turbo itself, got pump, injectors, computer, intercooler... My ? is, can I just subsitute the mitsu in it's place for a while till I can get hold of a super60 or t3/t4 turbo?

With proper tuning, I don't see why not.

Though it's not fun swapping turbos after they're installed. Just my opinion on that one.

Cool I don't plan on turning the boost up past 9psi. Was building a 2.2/tbi motor for for all out gas mileage but this 2.5 and super60 fell into my lap so I figured why not. I'm not looking to break any land speed records with this car. Just a peppy driver.

That should certainly do it. However, I managed to get 34MPG in my shadow before I did all the mods, and that was with a mitsu running 13PSI

Probably a good amount of boost creep, but it should be managable.
