The T04E/ T3 hybrid with 57 trim wheel will only flow 49 lb of air per minute... with a 60 trim it flows 50 lb per minute. So at maxium out put the 60 trim will be ...
50lbs multiple by 10.8 equals 540 Flywheel hp....Also , the 60 trim makes this at a P2/P1 presure ratio of about 2.7 So thats only 25 psi. ( 14.7+ 25 / 14.7 = 2.7)

If you never get any traction, then sure, you might be okay. Whats the point of having 600fwhp and never using it.
Interesting, I heard the opposite, that it was stronger. Guess we're going to find out, and yes, we plan on getting some serious traction!

I dont think he is actually looking to make 600whp

He was just sorta throwing out ideas.

I personally wouldnt try flowing 49lb of air with a 57 trim because thats about 55% efficiency.

Actually, we're not interested in making any LESS than 600whp and that is the reason I was asking. Looking into a gt40 at the moment, anyone who knows of a better suited turbo for the job, I'm all ears.

T3/T67 - GT3567R (full-race.com custom) or the venerable GT35R.

If you want to make 600whp with an additional 50-100+whp on tap, a GT40 - GT40R or a tang PT67 - T4/T67 would be fantastic for a 2.4L.

2.4L - GT40R
729WHP @ 7750 / 506 WTQ @ 6750 rpm

Actually, it's as simple as putting the right pieces together and having them all work as one. I have never built a 600whp 4 cyl. but I know others have, I would be a fool not to look for opinions from people with real life experiance in this area.

That's alot of power! Is that a 2.4 Chrysler? If so, what are some specs of the combo if you know them?

We have a complete 04 Srt4 with 7 000 miles for parts, runs perfect. The crank is getting knife edged and balanced, aluminum rods, windage tray, wiesco's, we have a torque plate, oiling upgrades(posible custom bearing girdle) full ported 1mm oversized valve head, head studs(haven't decided which gasket yet) custom intake with 65-70mm TB, GT35r or GT40 turbo(prob 1 of those two) custom header(wrapped), extenal W/G, 4' exaust. As for cams, I'm up in the air about this. It's looking like crane 16 or 18's but I'm wondering how there going to work at 25+psi boost. I haven't seen any definative proof that there are any cams for our 8V's that work better at 25+ psi than the stock roller's so I'm wondering if this will be the same. Then there's E-manage, I'd love to run stock recal but more realisticly it's looking like FAST or SDS. I'm hoping we can get some upgraded trans parts(hardend input shaft ect.) That's about where I'm at so far.

Im sure any cam that will make peak power at 7-8000 rpms will be much better then the stock roller. MUCH bettter.

You cant compare a real cam, and an aggressive 5000 rpm peak hp cam which loses power over a stocker.

You are planning on reving like that so it shouldnt be a problem.

O.K. I'm awake now! Just realized you we're talking about the dyno chart (not our build-up) lol!

That's awesome! Maybe people won't think it's so unbelievable that we're going to put down 600whp anymore!
