I have a 1988 Dodge Lancer ES with a chrysler 2.2 turbo 1 with rebuilt engine, car runs great just has no top end power... Bottom end at 14psi with Mitsubishi te04h runs great breaks loose easy just taking off and when It kicks open... Would the 89 Garrett turbo make big difference? with same boost levels? allso where can i get cheap turbo at?

from what ive heard the garret will make more power over the mitsu because its bigger and the air will be colder.

double and triple check cam timing, one tooth off can cause your top end problems

port the exhaust mannny, add the garrett with a 3" SV and 3" exhaust and you'll love it. Mitsu spool time with some top end flow. What rpm do you feel it's dropping off at?
