I was gonna make a single turbo for my V8 dart, but I sold the thing so now I've got this diesel truck TO4B sitting around. I was measuring it, its got a 58mm inducer (small end towards the inlet) and a 70mm exducer (big end, closer to the bearing section). My math says its about a 68 or 70 trim. The compressor outlet says "A/R .60 AiResarch T04" its also got a small G stamped on it. I'm a little worried that this thign will be too big. The other thing thats weird is that its got the exact same size and direction compressor outlet as a stock garrett. I was wonderign if I could use this as the cold side for a home made hybred or if I shoudl save my money and stick with a holset style turbo. The goal is hopefully 300hp to the wheels. This is going on a 2.5 in a van w/ an 8v worked as much as I can, eventually a 16V. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

I would spend the $ and get the right turbo for your application. If your going to run a hybrid you want an e wheel for sure.
