I have a 1985 Lebaron GTS the exhaust is very white and steamy, I think it's coolant leaking into the turbo. The head gasket is ok, compression is good, spark plugs dry and good, car runs fine. Anybody ever had this problem or does anybody know whats wrong/how to fix it ?

are you having to top off the coolant regularly? have you let it run long enough to warm up to see if it goes away? all engines produce water as a byproduct of the combustion process.

It shouldn't be possible for coolant to leak into the turbo, there's no seals for for the coolant in the turbo... its all cast, just flows through. Perhaps you have a cracked head or something that isn't showing up on a compression test!

Thanks, I figured out it was just a ton of condensation in the exhaust system.
