i was reading this article on dempseys page
i have an 88 lebaron gts 2.2 turbo auto.

http://www.xmission.com/~dempsey/perform/nospike.htm

i understand everything on the page, and it is exaclty what i want to do too. but if i recall correctly, on the vaccum line coming out the wastegate can, there is another vaccum line coming from the top of the turbo inlet that tees into the wastegate can line. so what should i do with the turbo inlet vac line? since the wastegate line is running to other things now?

also, if i have it set to 14 psi, do i still have to worry about boost creep to overboost. because i have a full 2.5 madrel, no cat, ultra flo. or will the wastegate by pass enough air to keep me staying at 14 psi, until i let off? any help would be greatly appreicated. thanks.

If your using an alternate vacume/boost source then you would plug off that line. If your car doesn't boost creep now, it shouldn't when you do this mod.

i dont really want to spend 200 dollars on a new cal, and plus with this setup im going to do the two stage boost setup, using another solenoid. but for that line coming out of the turbo input part, i should just plug that?

Like I said, if you are not using it for your vac/boost reference then yes plug it!

Yep! In fact, any three-barb solenoid will work just fine.
