I can offer some real life experience on this topic.
stock i/c at 20 psi all other mods being the same for me = 14.0 at 99.7 mph
volvo i/c at 20 psi everything else the same = 14.3 at 98 mph
swapped srt-4 i/c at 20 psi couldn't get to the track in good condition to make a pass. but compared to an srt-4 in a street race (he ran a best of 13.37 at 108) i didnt lose by nearly as much as a had in the past.
It feels stronger, had to turn down the boost (at this boost level the volvo must be restrictive) I swear the car would have run in the 13's with this i/c.
If you're not going beyond 14 or so psi, it's really better than nothing, but if plans are higher boost in the future, you will find it to be a cork. my $0.02
