If you're going to purge nitrous, may as well do it into the intercooler and get some Intercooler cooling while you're at it. It makes the engine run a bit rough for a moment.

I'm not for spraying a dry shot into the intake tract at any point unless your absolutely sure what you're doing. You can lean things out badly and do some damage.
I'd suggest a simple single nozzle wet kit after the intercooler. General rule is 4-6" before the TB, but I used to run it right before the intake manifold inlet on my neon.
