It's not really a big deal to me but I JUST got the car running good, it had a bad fuel pump and timing was way off...while the timing was off i drove it hard (cuz it had no power). Now that the car is fixed the boost creeps up to 12 pounds...i don't mind the extra power it produces but i'm worried for the internals/turbo...what might have caused this boost creep? Did i destroy the wastegate or something driving it hard while it had poor timing?

I wouldn;t worry abotu it too much, maybe take the timing down another degree or so from precaution, and enjoy the extra horsies.

any idea what might have caused this? A hole in the lines to the turbo or something? I meant to say (when i say creeps to 12psi) it will hit and stay at 12psi...rather than 7...

Come summertime I think i should intercool it, just to be safe.
