These things seem to be a dime a dozen on SRTforums.com and can be had for $100 shipped and less. Are these a good match to our cars? I have a 1989 Spirit T1 automatic..

is that a T1 daytona or a T2 daytona? Did you have to run the intercooler piping across the front of the engine then? If so do you have a picture of that?

It's a T2. The turbo out goes low and follows the lower radiator hose and down and around the alt bracket into the IC. The hose to the TB comes out along side the radiator and doglegs over to the TB. I have a larger radiator than a T2.

I'll look for a picture.
Sorry .... can't find any handy. I can snap one latter in the week if you need it.

So when plumbing a front mount intercooler with an outlet/inlet on the sides, I would simply route it across the front of the engien and between the radiator. Thanks.. I get it now ( I think) . This will be a first to me. Is the SRT4 intercooler a good match for our 2.5's?
