I have an 88 T2 Daytona. The previous owner installed a blow off valve in the lower intercooler hose. Is it better to mount it in the upper or lower hose? Should vacuum line for it be ran to the manifold source or the nipple on the turbo itself? Thanks.

If you want in depth details, do a search about where to put the bov. Most people agree that the top intercooler hose is the best spot, but some argue that the bottom is better. You could use either vacuum source, I would prefer manifold.

i also have heard both spots, i found it easier to mount mine on the top close to the t.body. i have found that it works fine and i hooked my vac. to the throttle body on top. i have seen many people mount it on the lower hose near the outlet of the turbo but the blowoff valve i have is rather big and clearance was one reason why i went on top.
