So the spacers are only needed to clear the distributor?? So if I get rid of the distributor I wont need spacers to flip the plenum? I've never looked closely at a 3.0 before because I had always considered them junk motors. I'm starting to reconsider that though. I guess I've just always heard bad things about them

I did, after I shot these pics. Unfortunately, the angle and shortening the length from the flange, didn't make enough of a difference.

It was a worthwhile effort, and only cost me about $50 for all of it.

Lesson learned for me. Thank god I'm going with the twins.
