Ok, so I know this is probably annoying to all of you veterans, but please take a look anyway. I have an '89 caravan with a t2 turbo (previous owner Gary D). I'm a little confused as to where to hook up my Grainger even after looking at other posts because I know there has been a g-valve on it before, and there are T's that I'm confused about. SO:

Hose A (the one I'm holding onto) goes to the wastegate. Hose B goes to nothing (it's plugged with a screw). Hose C goes to picture 2. Should the g-valve go between A and the crazy T line?

Picture 2 (Is this the wastegate solenoid?)

I'm still kinda new at this, but I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I'm really interested in how everything works.

Thanks,
Ian

Cut hose "A" in half and splice it back together with the G-valve. Hose "C" is goes to the cruise control servo.

Ok, That's where I thought I should put it. Also makes sense to me that pic 2 is the cruise control and not the wastgate solenoid.

I know I need one hose to release pressure. Is that what hose B was for (uncapped of course)?

You'd have to ask Gary what hose "B" was for!

On the outlet side of the G-valve (wastegate side), you can tee in a .025'' welding restrictor to vent pressure.

Good point! I guess I should just ask Gary.

Yes that is correct, make a cut in "A" and add the grainger there.

I think the reason there is a "B" is because I needed a 3 way T fitting and could only find a 4 way T.

BTW- I don't think I mentioned it but the van has a 5th injector hiding under the throttle body in the neck of the intake. The intake was the first TII style intake I ever purchased and was originally on the silver 86 Daytona. If you pull the TB off you can see where I filled in the original 5th injector holes on the drivers side of the intake as I wanted to hide an extra injector on the van.

If you need an intercooler for the van, I had one custom made for it years ago but never installed.. drop me a line if interested, it's still here somewhere.

Well, I installed the DawesDevice MBC this morning before work.

I could not be happier with any other investment. The computer in my van was boosting the T2 at 4psi. What a difference 9psi makes!

A $2000 van with a $43 MBC that can blow the doors off of a late-model Mustang GT. I now anxiously await my S60 turbo and supposting mods which are in the postal system somewhere!

Actually the computer had nothing to do with the vans boost control, the actuator was hooked direct to the intake.
