With the stock exhaust on a early Garrett T1, what's the max boost I can expect to get?

No, I'm installing a Grainger valve for boost control and changing the fuel system (pump, regulator, etc) to compensate. I'm just wondering what other people have experienced as far as max boost goes when they starting turning up the wick without putting in a larger exhaust first.

To compensate to what? What pump? What regulator? What anything?

TI have a very restrictive intake manifold and it is very difficult to run an intercooler.

I had an 86 Daytona Turbo Z that I ran a 2.5" turbo back exhaust on. I also put in a Mopar Performance logic module and got 12 psi. I would not go more than that on a T1 log intake car. I also ran an 180' stat. It ran decent. From what I read the intake system was at its limit at 12 psi.
