I had a though the other day, is it possible to put a bigger turbo on TI log car?? The boost would stay stock at 9psi, but would it work? or would it still need to be intercooled? I know injectors would be needed.....

i dont think you would see a difference. and if your going to stay at stock boost, thats the best turbo for that car. the t1 garrett is a good turbo. you would howerver see gains from intercooling it. and it would be cheaper than buying a new turbo.

if your heads not ported, you dont need new injectors til overl 14psi. but if you go there, please buy a wideband o2. 150 bucks will save you an engine.

If you change the turbo to larger one, it might be a good time to go ahead and change the intake. That would open up a lot of possibilities. I had an '85 turbo car and no matter what did, i had a hard time getting boost over 14psi. There are too many restrictions in a log setup. Just a thought.
