This is probably a really stupid question but im not 100% sure if im right.
I have a 90 Dodge Spirit ES with the 2.5 Turbo (little mitsubishi) I would like to replace it with a Garett unit, I was told I would have to change electronics if I did because it was a Turbo 1, I didnt think that was right and it seems that I can replace it from what I read on here. So number one question I am correct it would be a Turbo 1 right? Number two I can lose the Mitsubishi paper weight and install a Garett and only have to change oil and coolant lines?
Number three what about the factory intake boots and hoses do they still fit, or can I make my own intake system or install an intercooler as well and not affect the way it runs? Sorry to ask a question I am sure has been answered many times before.

unless your adding an intercooler it will still be a turbo1.
no you wont have to change any electronics.
the garett is a bolt on, except for the oil and coolant lines, and all your intake hoses are fine.
