I have a 1989 Plymouth Sundance Turbo I 2.50 automatic. The following mods have been made. The TurboII radiator and intercooler setup ( a direct fit) were installed. The Mopar Performance computer which raises the boost from 9 to 11lbs., spark advance from 25 degrees to 40 degrees and increase in fuel flow was also put in. I put on a 3 inch exhaust from Forward Motion but aftering running it the noise was just too great. So the back end of the exhaust was replaced with a 2.50 exhaust pipe widened at one end to 3 inches to fit on the stainless steel exhaust. A 2 inch Mopar Performance muffler is attached. According to the Rep at Forward Motion, my horsepower gain is only 3 to HP over stock. The 3 inch system is dynoed at 18 HP gain. It was fun to hear the car chirp at 30 MPH when stomping on it, but the noise was unbearable. I run synthetic motor oil, and a K&N air filter is installed.
Out of curiousity, just what speed do you think this car could do? Is it possible that the car can run 90MPH in the quarter mile? Thanks for any info. Oh, it has the Mitsu turbo, not the Garrett.

I'd say you will be in the high 14 second range if you can drive . Trapping in the mid to high 90MPH range..

I all most have the same set up as you do I to wish to know what it can do. I got a t1 log converted garret the stock down pipe to a 2.5 inch exhaust out the side. I got mine set a 10 psi on the stock computer and I also running synthetic blend oil. My car was everything from an 89 shadow es that was transplated into a 91 sundance
